Warranty Information
Thank you for choosing ORO Racks Inc.
We aim to provide Canadian customers with durable, high-performance products designed, tested, and built right here in Canada. Every product goes through real-world testing before it's made available for sale.
General Warranty
- Warranty Coverage: ORO Racks Inc. offers a 1-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship and materials on all ORO-branded products, starting from the original purchase date.
- Claim Requirements: To submit a claim, contact info@ororacks.ca with a description of the issue and clear photos. In some cases, we may require the item be returned for inspection.
- Resolution: If a defect is verified to be due to materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace the affected part at no charge.
- Shipping Costs: All shipping costs (both to and from our facility) are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Limitations: This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, overloading, accidents, or general wear and tear. Cosmetic blemishes or surface scratches are not considered warranty issues.
- Exclusions: ORO Racks Inc. is not responsible for any third-party costs associated with removal, installation, or repair of the product.
Third-Party Products
- Manufacturer Warranty: Some products sold through our store are manufactured by third-party brands and are not produced by ORO Racks Inc.
- Warranty Coverage: These products are covered under the warranty provided by the original manufacturer.
- Claims Process: Warranty claims for third-party products must be submitted directly to the manufacturer according to their warranty policy and procedures.
- Support: While ORO Racks Inc. does not process warranty claims for non-ORO products, we are always happy to help point customers in the right direction if assistance is needed.
Powder Coating Warranty
- Coverage: Our powder coating is covered for 1 year from the date of purchase against peeling or flaking as a result of improper application.
- What’s Not Covered: Damage from stone chips, gear abrasion, scratches, or other environmental wear is considered normal use and is not covered under this warranty.
- Maintenance Note: Powder coating is an excellent coating, but does requires ongoing care. If coating is damaged and not touched up, it can cause the coating to begin to show discolouration or flaking. Regular maintenance helps extend the life of your product.
- While cosmetic wear is not covered, we’re always happy to help work out a reasonable solution if issues arise.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
