Before you order
Will it fit my truck?
The Bed Bar System fits most trucks — use the truck selector at the top of this page and it will match the correct bracket kit for you. The 2024+ Ford Ranger uses its own purpose-built mount, new with V2. If your truck isn't listed, contact us and we'll confirm fitment within one business day.
Do I have to drill into my truck?
Usually not. Trucks with factory accessory rails (Toyota, Nissan, Jeep Trail Rail) bolt straight on with the included hardware. Where rails don't exist, supplied bolts and lock nuts require 4 holes drilled through the bed rail — or add no-drill clips to your order for a clamp-on install.
Can I run a tonneau cover with the bed bars?
Yes — with almost every style of tonneau cover on the market. The Standard bracket kit works with nearly any cover, and the Retrax-style T-Slot kit bolts directly onto T-slot rail covers like the Retrax XR, BAK Revolver X4TS, and Truxedo TS — including on the 2024+ Ranger. One caution for Tacoma owners: some Tacoma covers relocate the factory accessory rails — if your cover relocates the rails, the Bed Bar System can be installed, but requires more work than a simple bolt on.
Will it hold my rooftop tent?
Yes. Evenly distributed capacity is 350 lb dynamic (driving) and 900 lb static (parked/camping), or your truck's OEM bed rail capacity, whichever is less — and the adjustable bar spacing lets you match your tent's mounting points exactly.
What changed from the original Bed Bar System?
Three things: adjustable-mount MOLLE panels so you can space the bars anywhere up to 45″ apart, MOLLE mount brackets angled 15° for more accessory clearance, and a new purpose-built mount for the 2024+ Ford Ranger (V2 only).

* Not compatible with the CarbonPro composite bed.
** Not compatible with trucks equipped with the RamBox storage system.
