Why aluminum
Rack structure is 5052 aluminum with 6063-T6 T-slot load bars and stainless hardware — no rust, ever, and the T-slots take standard accessory hardware along the full bar length. MOLLE panels included with every rack system we sell.
Ford F-150 bed rack FAQ
Will this fit my F-150 bed length?
Our F-150 racks run 71-inch load bars on a 55-inch rack length. [VERIFY: confirm bed-length coverage — 5.5' and 6.5' beds?] If you're unsure, send us your bed length and we'll confirm before you order.
Does it work with my tonneau cover?
Yes in almost every case. The rack clamps to your bed rails and the cover's rails clamp over top — we recommend foam weatherstripping between them.
T-slot covers like the BAK Revolver X4TS and Retrax XR make this even easier, as we supply the required hardware to bolt straight to the t-slot rail. See our tonneau-compatible collection for a full rundown.
How much weight can an F-150 bed rack carry?
350 lb dynamic (driving) and 900 lb static (parked), evenly distributed. That covers a rooftop tent plus occupants at camp.
Do I need to drill my truck bed?
Not if you don't want to — the rack clamps on. Beds without rails like the F-150 use bolt-through mounting (drilled) or our no-drill clip kit.
