Bed racks that work with your tonneau cover
You shouldn't have to choose between your tonneau cover and a bed rack. ORO Bed Bars mount over the bed rails and clear almost every cover style — roll-up, folding, and retractable — so your gear rides up top while your cover keeps working underneath. Running a full-height Elite Series rack? Pair it with the T-slot tonneau mount and an inside-rail cover. Every rack is aluminum, made in Canada, and rated 350 lb dynamic / 900 lb static.

Not sure which cover style you have? Read the tonneau cover & bed rack guide or send us a photo of your bed rails — we'll confirm fitment before you order.
How it mounts over your cover
Both Bed Bars and the full-height rack clamp directly to your truck's bed rails — then your tonneau cover's rails clamp over top of the rack's mounting. We recommend a strip of foam weatherstripping between the two for a snug, rattle-free seal.
Running a T-slot cover like the BAK Revolver X4TS or Retrax XR? We include hardware that bolts the rack straight into the cover's T-slot rails.
The rack structure is 5052 aluminum with 6063-T6 load bars, so the added weight over your cover is minimal.

Tonneau cover + bed rack FAQ
Can you have a bed rack and a tonneau cover at the same time?
Yes. ORO Bed Bars are designed to mount over the bed rails and clear the cover — roll-up, folding, and retractable tonneau covers all keep full function underneath the rack.
Do bed racks work with folding tonneau covers?
Bed Bars do. The rack sits above the cover's rails, so a tri-fold cover opens and folds normally. Full-height Elite Series racks require an inside-rail cover with the T-slot tonneau mount instead.
What is a T-slot tonneau mount?
It's a mounting system that lets the Elite Series bed rack attach to the T-slot rails of compatible inside-mount tonneau covers, like the BAK Revolver X4ts — the rack and the cover share the same rail system.
Will a bed rack damage my tonneau cover?
No. The rack doesn't contact the cover — it clamps to the truck bed rails and spans above the cover's operating space.
How much weight can I carry with a tonneau cover installed?
The cover doesn't change the rack's rating: 350 lb dynamic (driving) and 900 lb static (parked), evenly distributed. The load goes through the rack into the bed rails, not through the cover.
